Capstone Fair preparation

Poster 2 for Capstone FairI called the printer yesterday around 4pm. I got one poster done, but I need two for a "V" display at Saturday's Capstone Fair @ Walsh College. So he said bring the files in 1st thing in the morning and he would do them up same day (foamcore, laminated, full color). THANK GOD I got some time! The laptop was giving me fits working on the files. Sometimes I get sick of how slow PaintShop Pro is with huge files. The files are 70mb & 50mb in native format with all the layers. The size is 32"x24" and DPI is 150. Converted to TIF format one is 23mb and the other 30mb.

So I stayed up until 3am working on these posters. I'm SO exhausted and sick! But I have to get them printed FRIDAY (today) otherwise - no display.

Poster 1 for Capstone FairI woke up this morning before 7am so I wasn't in the way of Mike getting out the door. Just pushing myself out the door to get there. Will power over bosy exhaustion. I got to the printer at 8:25am and we looked at the work on his Mac. OMG - the images were SO DARK! So he applied a level adjustment of 1.50, but I'm not sure how it'll turn out. I hope the colors stay true. I thought about how dark they would print and said let's use gloss laminate. Hopefully that will brighten them up a little.

So much more to do for the project to appear successful. I wonder if I can throw together a website in 20 hours. I think I'll nap first. Then I've got a Landmark meeting from 7pm-10pm tonight. That's cutting out time that I critically need. Maybe I have to call and cancel on it. I did that last night too. Wonder what they think. I guess I call my coach and talk it out with him.
