Tonight was a fundraiser for Obama's presidential campaign. I saw Isaac Robinson and his mother Rose Robinson. She is a candidate for District 4 Michigan State Representative. Voting is on August 7.
It was a busy afternoon and evening with a stop first at City Council with public comment regarding the illegality of Detroit's Financial Stability Agreement. We have to vigilantly remind weak representatives that the voice of the people is what they were elected to represent. Giving up responsibility to the State of Michigan is a sacrifice.
