Spotting Fuzzytek: "Firefly" the series

Last night I completed watching the series "Firefly" through NetFlix. I very much enjoyed the series. It had a great blend of visual, action and intellectual content. The actors performed very well. I learned a bit about the making of a TV series from the commentaries and observing it as a film-maker would.

I'm partnered with Living for Sundance and Thought Collide Productions in making movies here in Detroit. We're currently filming episodes of InZer0 each month. The following month we edit what was shot. The 2nd month after filming we show it at the Main Arts Theater in Royal Oak. This is one of the dreams of many people coming true in my life - to be involved in creating a movie that has a large following. We had 400 people come to see episode 1 last month. Tomorrow night we'll be showing episode 2. This weekend is filming weekend for episode 4. We have an open invitation for people to get involved. There is no pay, there are long hours, and the people are great. Come to the movie night on June 6 and sign up to be on cast/crew and enjoy the afterparty at Memphis Smoke too.
